THE WORK
WORK IN DEVELOPMENT
I'm looking for a producer/programmer to develop this work with me, particularly for festivals and galleries.
This installation explores digital vs analogue projection through seven cylindrical mirrored tubes positioned over a projected image of rotating 2-bladed fans.
The graphic imagery draws on the visual language of industrial forms. or what I see before waking
Light from the projection is reflected by the mirrored surfaces, translating the digital image from the floor into analogue swirls onto the walls and ceiling.

On entering the space, the viewer initially sees the digitally projected image and mirrored structures on the floor.
And then discovers how they interact to generate analogue reflections onto the walls and ceiling of the surrounding space.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
BASIC SET UP
This is a scalable installation, with a self-contained basic setup. Beyond a certain scale, the technical requirements and equipment needed also increase.

SUSTAINABILITY
My studio is powered entirely by renewable energy, with 12 × 440W solar panels installed on the roof and a 10KwH battery supplying the studio’s electricity.
I maintain a library of materials, which are retained and re-used across productions rather than purchased for single-use.
